Cohen’s list of endorsements gone from web site. Thank god we copied it earlier
Earlier in the day, we went to Cohen’s campaign web site. We started calling people on his “endorsement” list to find out if they still endorsed him.
Cohen won Tuesday’s democratic primary for Lt. Governor. Since then, allegations of spousal abuse and police records of an arrest have raised concerns about the character of this candidate. Several public figures have called on Cohen to resign and withdrawal from the race.
Just now, we returned to the site to fact-check a name and the “endorsement” page has been taken down. Good thing we copied the list before they had technical problems:
Carrie Austin, Councilman – 34th Ward
Howard B. Brookins, Jr., Councilman – 21st Ward

Good save. Do you smell conspiracy ?
Nah, we have a call into his office. But my guess is that the media has been contacting all those people on the list. And they just took it down as courtesy to all those people. That’s my guess.
I took a screen shot of the list as I knew it would soon be gone. Thanks for the follow up!
If Scott Lee Cohen ran for office to pump up his business (or at least curiosity
seekers) – he did a swell job. His name and story has a life how long ?
Will the press keep this up until the election ? He must be fielding juicy deals.
