Sound bite of the day: Mayor Daley wants to know ‘What’s wrong with you people?’
Mayor Daley went off-script today at a TV news reporter. She asked if Michael Scott’s death would have any affect on Daley’s political career. That didn’t go over well. After this answer, Daley walked off the podium.

he’s right, it was a dumb question to ask him in any medium. What did she expect him to say? Obviously, she didn’t really want an answer; she just wanted him to get upset so THAT could be captured for today’s soundbite. Does WBEZ think we like to be entertained this way? yuk.
Sure. I’m entertained by our newsmakers and their answers at press conferences. I doubt that got much play yesterday. So yes, I think it’s entertaining.
