Monday Bears rant: Vikings eat Bear souls.

I awoke last night with an epiphany. I no longer believe in my football team. I no longer practice their religion. I tried to explain it today with Brian Babylon on Vocalo. All we ask is that our ballplayers become more than mortal. Ascend to God-like figures. Is that so hard?

My Monday Bears Rant: Intern Edition

First it was the Cardinals. Then it was the 49ers. Yesterday it was the Eagles. Getting out of bed the following morning has been difficult for every Bears Fan, but we tough it out because we’re Chicagoans. Not Justin though. He won’t fess up to it, but I’m sensing a pattern.

Friday morning 49ers rant

Justin is out of the office today, so I took the liberty to film his weekly Bears pity party for this here blog.

Full disclosure: While you guys were spending painful years watching the likes of Craig Krenzel, Steve Kramer, Cade McNown and Moses Moreno taking snaps for the Bears, I was in sunny California cheering on performances by Steve Young, Joe Montana and Jim Drukenmiller (OK, even the 49ers aren’t perfect.)

Anyway, I hope you like this new Cutler guy, because I sure did last night.

With no further ado, I give you the Monday Friday Morning Bears 49ers  Rant.

Alex Brown’s Monday Morning Bears Rant is better than Justin’s.

Far be it from me to be insubordinate, but I was pretty disappointed in Justin’s Monday Morning Bears Rant today. I mean, he spent more time talking touch-football than NFL. Give me a break.

I’d much rather listen to Alex Brown sum up the problems with the Bears. Oh look, here’s just that courtesy of Cheryl Raye Stout (and our unpaid intern Tim Mata).

Monday Morning Bears Rant: I played better than the Bears did

Actually, I did. Unfortunately, a late game injury kept me out of work today. But even though I am technically “ill”, I do have thoughts about the nasty game that I watched yesterday.

Monday Bears rant: Cross-promotion freeze, please.

Am I the only one who is getting sick of the blatant network television cross-promotion? When are we going to boycott this garbage? NBC has “great moments in tailgating,” introduced by the football anchors. And now James Cameron’s Avatar is cut into promos. What gives? Oh yeah, the Bears played too.

Monday Bears Rant: Where do you start?

I um…well…the defense…um…4 turnovers…no heart…um…beat in every phase…ugh.

Monday Bears Rant (for Tuesday): What's with not lining up properly? I mean, who does that?

I’m back from out of town. I had a chance to watch the Bears game on Sunday night. And I have a few thoughts. Quick, easy, ready for consumption…

Monday Bears Rant: I loathe Kyle Orton

Every Monday morning, I join Brian Babylon on Vocalo.org to rant about the week’s Bears game. Since this week was their bye week, I watched really crappy NFC North football and of course, Kyle Orton. And I couldn’t help but root against him.

Do you have a rant? You can leave it here or call-in live Monday at 11am @Vocalo.org (888.635.1112)

UPDATE: Listen to this morning’s football talk with Jerry Azumah.

Monday Bears Rant – Enough with the House promos.

Every Monday, I get a chance to go on our sister-station Vocalo.org to talk about the Bears game. I join host Brian Babylon and special guest Jerry “Zoom Zoom” Azumah to break down the game. Then? I get 5 minutes to rant about not just the game, but the Sunday football experience. Here is today’s rant, which has to do with Fox’s lame House promos, 4th Phase cheerleading and football players beating each other up, disguised as TD celebrations…
